Physical Records: Shredded or destroyed in a manner that prevents unauthorized access. Digital Records: Permanently deleted from all storage systems, including backups, using secure deletion methods.
If The Elliott Group is involved in litigation, audits, or investigations, all relevant records must be retained until the matter is resolved, even if the standard retention period has expired. Legal or compliance teams will notify affected employees and departments of any legal holds.
All employees and contractors are responsible for adhering to this policy and ensuring that records are maintained or disposed of in accordance with the guidelines set forth. Employees must not delete or destroy any records subject to legal holds or ongoing audits.
